DECEMBER 5 SOIL DAY December 5 is "World Soil Day." It is great to see that there is a day to remember the importance of soil. As usual, I reached college with an empty mind. The period before lunch break was Joju Sir's; it went on with a seminar, and at the end of the class, Joju Sir told us about an exhibition organised by the Natural Science Department; he lined us up and told us to go and see the exhibition. They have arranged an informative and attractive exhibition. They have gathered soil from each district of Kerala, along with an experiment by Agustin Mathew, a research scholar at Mar Theophilus College.
Cheers to a new start November 29 was a day for a fresh start. The classes began with an optional class, which was followed by Ancy Miss's, then there was a discussion in Joju Sir's class about media and its influence. After the lunch break, it was Maya Maam's class . Then came the Social Sweating Program, in which we, the students of Mar Theophilus College, organised a vegetable garden on the college's grounds under the supervision of the natural science department. Dr. K. Y. Benedict sir, respected principal, began by planting a sapling. After we all planted various vegetable saplings like chillies, cabbage, brinjal, etc.
NOVEMBER 25 My heart was racing as Ancy maam's exam was about to begin. I had no idea what had been taught, but I managed to study a little thanks to Aleena, who taught me everything in such a simple way that I understood more than Ancy maam's class. It went well, but the day was so boring. Same schedule, nothing special. I felt very bored there, and there is nothing I can do as it was my decision to study B.Ed.
