A DAY PACKED WITH EVENTS Many programs were organized in our college as part of International Anti-Corruption Day and other unrelated events. The natural science department initiated the first program to unite for Anti-Corruption Day. We called it "Declaration of Hands on Wall," and we dipped our hands in paint and imprinted our fingers on a white wall. It was inaugurated by our respected principal, Dr. K. Y. Benedict, sir all the students and teachers took part in it. It was a nice experience for me. The next was a quiz session organised by the social science department, and it is a great pleasure for me to say that we, the English department, won the first prize. The participants from our department were Ms. Malavika, Ms. Lakshmi, and Ms. Jeena Robert. The mathematics and physical science departments came next. We all took part in it.

DECEMBER 5 SOIL DAY December 5 is "World Soil Day." It is great to see that there is a day to remember the importance of soil. As usual, I reached college with an empty mind. The period before lunch break was Joju Sir's; it went on with a seminar, and at the end of the class, Joju Sir told us about an exhibition organised by the Natural Science Department; he lined us up and told us to go and see the exhibition. They have arranged an informative and attractive exhibition. They have gathered soil from each district of Kerala, along with an experiment by Agustin Mathew, a research scholar at Mar Theophilus College.
DECEMBER 1 WORLD AIDS DAY : Equalize World Aids Day was observed today. The day began with Stephan Sir's yoga class and ended with the celebration of World Aids Day. Celebrations started at 3 p.m. and lasted until 3.30 p.m. Students from every department and all the teachers took part in it. Joju Sir gave a brief speech about the significance of the day, how Aids will spread, preventive measures, and so on. Principal DR. K. Y. Benedict Sir also spoke, after which he distributed the red ribbon and lit the candles. We placed the candles on the floor in the shape of a red ribbon, took a group photo, and all dispersed to their houses.
