"We conducted a yoga class for the students to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy and fit body. Through this session, we aimed to educate them on the benefits of yoga, such as improved flexibility, balance, and concentration. We also emphasized the value of regular exercise in reducing stress and anxiety, boosting mood, and enhancing overall well-being. Additionally, we encouraged the students to adopt healthy lifestyle habits, including a balanced diet, sufficient sleep, and regular physical activity, to achieve a harmonious balance between body and mind."

FIELD STUDY🌱🌿

"A field study on organic farming was undertaken at St. Johns HSS as a requirement of our B.Ed curriculum. This investigation was prompted by an observation made at the school, underscoring the alarming rise in chronic diseases attributed to the consumption of inorganic and processed foods. Our research sought to underscore the vital role of organic farming in maintaining good health. A carefully crafted questionnaire was employed to facilitate data collection, providing us with meaningful responses from the participants."

WEEK 2  The second week after our short break was a busy one, filled with various events starting with the Kerala Piravi celebration. Our college principal, Dr. Joju John, was a distinguished guest for the Kerala Piravi program. Aligned with the theme of "Keraleeyam," we organized a quiz for the students. Later in the week, we also held a poster-making competition on the topic of technological education.

WEEK 1

"Upon completing two semesters of college, we transitioned into the practice teaching phase of our B.Ed journey. At St. John's Model HSS in Nalanchira, I joined a cohort of 16 peers from diverse optional subjects. Assigned to Class 8D, I was mentored by Binni Sahithi sir.  The school's warm welcome, led by Headmaster Bijo Geevarghese sir, helped ease our transition. As a novice educator, I was anxious about my teaching abilities, but our team's positive dynamic helped build my confidence. The Headmaster outlined our duties, which we began executing from day two.  As I met my Class 8D students, I found them to be lively and talkative, much like typical teenagers. While managing the class during the first week was daunting, I was determined to overcome the challenges and grow as a teacher."
